Wicked!

Yesterday afternoon, I got hungry & wanted something different to eat.
So I thought, Wicked Oreos!
They're basically deep fried Oreos dipped in pancake batter.
I know, unhealthy... But the last time I ate this was probably last year so... YAY!
I'll be sharing how I make mine after the break. :)

1. you'll need oreos!
You can put them in the freezer before you deep fry them so that they wont brake in the process.

2. You'll need pancake batter. I had some left over from the time I made pancakes.

3. Preheat your oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remember, you're deep frying them! :)

4. Put the Oreo in the pancake batter
and with a fork, make sure the Oreo cookie is well covered with the batter.

6. Drop the Oreo when your oil is ready, and cook until golden brown! :)
They cook very fast, at least 8-10 seconds on each side.
Once they're done, put them on tissue to drain all the oil.

You can see the oil... It's glistening in the light...
Which is why it's important to drain 'em! :D
VOILA! YOUR'E DONE!
(I over cooked mine a little bit... My oil was too hot.)

An optional step would be to dust them with powdered sugar/confectioners sugar.
I opted to do this cause I just love powdered sugar!

Happy eating! :)
I suggest that you eat this only once in a blue moon.
Cause y'know, it isn't exactly the healthiest thing out there.
Just reminding you!

You can eat them as is, or with a scoop of ice cream.
I didn't have any on hand, so I ate them alone. </3
They're still good either ways.
A modern twist to a classic childhood snack.
